Blue Diamond Security was appointed to provide specialist Mobile Security Escort Services to support the relocation of a warehouse operation from Hinckley to Leeds.

The project involved the scheduled movement of three high-value vehicle loads per day over a three-week period, requiring continuous oversight, route security, real-time monitoring and coordinated operational support throughout the relocation.

Our involvement began with detailed movement planning, route assessments and liaison with the client to ensure schedules, contingency arrangements and security procedures were agreed well in advance. All Cargo Vehicle (CV) drivers received comprehensive briefings covering convoy protocols and Blue Diamond Security’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a range of operational scenarios.

Dedicated Mobile Security Escort Teams were deployed for every movement, supported by live vehicle tracking technology that provided complete visibility of both escort and transport vehicles throughout transit. This enabled our control team to continuously monitor progress, respond rapidly to changing circumstances and adjust routes or timings where necessary.

Throughout the operation, Blue Diamond Security maintained regular communication with the client, providing real-time updates on departures, vehicle locations and confirmed arrivals. Any delays, route deviations or environmental factors were managed proactively, ensuring continuity of operations and complete confidence in the security arrangements.

The warehouse relocation was completed without incident, loss or disruption. All movements were delivered safely, securely and in accordance with the agreed security plan, allowing the client to complete the transition with minimal operational impact.
