Simon has a career in security starting from when he left school. He started working as a security guard and worked up through different companies and then found himself a position working for the Football Association providing security for the England national side when they were playing together.

He was moved from general security duties to acting as a bodyguard for team members on a regular basis at the same time started managing large security teams looking after visiting Middle Eastern Royal families. When he was not eating with clients at the Dorchester he worked as a specialist trouble shooter for large nightclubs in London that were suffering security and drug related problems.

Simon has also worked and managed security and large teams looking after backstage areas and artists performing at some of the UK’s largest festivals.

In 2009 Simon started working for Richard and Blue Diamond Security as a Team Leader on shows such as the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.

Now a company director, Simon manages his own Blue Diamond Security projects such as security for talent working on Large Fashion Shows, Brand Protection Projects in the UK and Europe, The Voice and The Voice Kid’s and works alongside Richard on all large projects.

Simon is the main point of contact for all operations and handles all bookings and personally project manages the security for all shows and photoshoots throughout the UK and Europe.

Simon is also a CPO and acts as PPO for celebrities and some of our client’s directors and board members during events and fashion show abroad.

Simon is also a qualified Security and First Aid Trainer and Assessor.
